Spring and summer charters in the Bahamas

Close to the east coast of Florida, the islands of the Bahamas are a good spot for a spring or summer yacht charter vacation. Although cool in mid winter by April the winds and water have warmed enough to make this area perfect for snorkeling, shelling or fishing.

Nassau is a developed island and a good jumping off point for a trip, but there are numerous other locations that can be reached by small planes that really get you into the midst of the outer islands of the Exumas. The Abacos offer great beaches as well as cute small towns to visit. Further south, Turks & Caicos are isolated with shallow water for snorkeling and great fishing.

This spring the charter catamaran Ocean’s Seven is based in the Bahamas. This 58’ luxury catamaran is well set up for 8 guests plus two crew that are sure to please. The shallow draft of a catamaran gives you unrivaled ability to sail the banks, skimming in just 5 or 6 feet of clear water over the banks to reach the best snorkel & shelling reefs.. Anchor in calm water off reef s where you can only see the stars of the Milky Way – no other lights in sight.

For dedicated fishermen there are many other options of power yachts that will provide options of deep sea fishing to light line sport. Clients love the clear blue waters of the Bahamas for scuba diving during their charter.

For rest and relaxation, a yacht charter in the Bahamas on Ocean’s Seven is a great choice!
